Portraits of feminine faces were a very special part of my father's artistic life. Everyone who knew Ruben understood how much he admired women and how deeply he appreciated feminine beauty.
In all the faces he painted, you can see the tenderness, respect, and gentleness with which he approached his subjects. His portraits were not simply representations of people; they were expressions of admiration for grace, elegance, and the beauty he saw in the world around him.
Until the very last moments of his life, he never lost his ability to recognize and celebrate beauty—especially feminine beauty. Through his art, he preserved that admiration forever, leaving behind portraits that continue to reflect his sensitivity, warmth, and love for women .
