Life Beyond the Canvas

This section is dedicated to the people, memories, and cherished moments that brought the greatest joy to Ruben’s life. Here we will share photographs of the family he adored, his beloved siblings, dear friends, fellow artists, and the many people who walked beside him throughout his remarkable journey.

We will also honor the doctors who cared for him, especially Dr. Sia Danishmand, whose dedication and expertise helped give Ruben many more precious years with those he loved. A special place is reserved for his devoted wife, Gohar, whose love, strength, and endless care were the foundation of his life and happiness. We will include memories of the simple things that made him smile as well—his favorite car, his loyal dog, and the everyday moments that became treasured memories.

This collection will continue to grow as we gather photographs and stories from both the United States and Armenia. There are so many memories to preserve, and each one tells a part of Ruben’s story. Through these images and recollections, we hope to celebrate not only the artist Ruben Manukyan was, but also the loving husband, father, brother, friend, and extraordinary human being who touched so many lives. Our goal is to preserve these memories and share a more complete picture of Ruben's life, the people he loved, and those who loved him in return.
